High quality wine obtained from a selection of the best Aglianico grapes from the oldest vineyards coltivaded in the Venosa area. Maturation takes place in small French and Slavonia oak barrels for at least 12 months. It has an intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections; winey and personal bouquet with a delicate violet and red-currant aroma, spicey; full sensorial flavour, pleasantly tannic.
At its best with pasta dishes, white and red meats and mild cheeses.
